The purpose of the International Business Management course (diplomado), is to offer an international training experience to national and international students. The course modules are taught by highly qualified international professors from top business schools in the world and who will share the emerging and future trends in international business management. Additionally, students will understand what kind of stages and strategies they have to implement in order to enter markets abroad.

Objetivo General

General objective: Students will comprehend what is the role of internationalized corporations in the world economy in a high dynamic context of commerce and investment flows, strategic alliances, and alternatives in order to enter foreign markets and an increasing movement of services and goods between different kinds of organizations around the world.

Maastricht University

Dr. Mark JG Govers (1967) is an out-of-the-box thinker from The Netherlands with a PhD in management sciences. He works at the intersection between developing, applying and teaching knowledge focused on socio-technical and theory of constraint thinking. Since 2006, he is an academic scholar at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. As (visiting) professor, he lectures information, management and organizational science in The Netherlands and in Colombia and Peru. Besides his academic work, he is a senior advisor at his own consultancy firm called Archypel Consulting. Projects are related to re-balancing the intersection between structures, cultures, people and IT systems. Besides projects, he enjoys helping managers and leaders with organizational and managerial issues. He is well known for giving challenging and entertainment lectures and workshops, which he calls “knowledge-tainment”.

Condiciones Generales

La Universidad se reserva el derecho de cancelar la apertura de un curso o programa en razón de que no se reúnan las condiciones económicas mínimas. En tal evento, la Universidad restituirá el 100% del importe pagado por los estudiantes en la moneda de origen mediante transferencia electrónica (wire transfer) a la cuenta bancaria informada por los participantes. La transferencia se efectuará dentro de los primeros cinco días hábiles siguientes a la fecha en que se recibió la información de los datos bancarios del participante.

En el evento de que un participante decida no tomar el curso o programa habiendo ya pagado el importe correspondiente a la matrícula, siempre y cuando el mismo no hubiere iniciado, podrás solicitar restitución de su dinero para lo cual la Universidad le efectuará transferencia electrónica por el 90% del valor originalmente recibido, reteniendo el 10% que corresponderá al reembolso de gastos administrativos y bancarios incurridos por la Universidad. El reembolso se efectuará en la moneda origen del pago dentro de los 8 días hábiles siguientes a la recepción de la solicitud de retiro, cancelación y reembolso.
